Still In Denial II

This work echoes the visual language of high fashion editorials. In a desolate landscape, a group of youth poses, their expressions frozen in a state of glamour and coolness, completely unaware of the decay and their own distorted or missing body parts around them. It’s all about the pose—keeping up the illusion of empty relevance. Fake it till you make it.

The central theme revolves around denial, reflecting our refusal to acknowledge the serious issues we face just to maintain and broadcast an unreal, filtered version of our lives shaped by algorithms. Meanwhile, the real game is rigged, and the awakening will be harsh.

Still in Denial serves as a commentary on our 21st-century lifestyle and value system, where we risk becoming automatons, even before merging with machines. It challenges us to confront the uncomfortable truths hidden beneath our curated realities.
